This website is operated by Hot Air Studios LLC (HAS) dba Bad Dog Pottery. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to HAS and or Bad Dog Pottery. Bd dog Pottery offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.

 

  • Products & services
  • Handmade pottery features unique variations in size, weight, glaze color, and texture. Minor imperfections are natural parts of the craft and not defects.
  • We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate.
  • We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.
  • We do not guarantee that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.
  • Care & Use Instructions: Our pieces are food-safe, microwave-safe, or dishwasher-safe, however we do not recommend using them in a microwave as the ceramics can become very hot. The use in a oven is not recommended as thermal shock (rapid temperature changes that crack ceramics) can occur when a cold piece is put into a hot oven or a hot piece from the oven is exposed to colder conditions. We recommend that out works are handwashed to ensure the long-term use.
  • Pricing & Availability: Please note that prices can change and that high-demand collection drops or one-of-a-kind items sell on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Intellectual Property: Our Services, including but not limited to all trademarks, brands, text, displays, images, graphics, product reviews, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof, are owned by Bad Dog Pottery, its affiliates or licensors and are protected by U.S. and foreign patent, copyright and other intellectual property laws.
  • These Terms permit you to use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use only. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on the Services without our prior written consent. Except as expressly provided herein, nothing in these Terms grants or shall be construed as granting a license or other rights to you under any patent, trademark, copyright, or other intellectual property of Bad Dog Pottery, Shopify or any third party. Unauthorized use of the Services may be a violation of federal and state intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by Bad Dog Pottery.
  • Bad Dog Pottery’s names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Bad Dog Pottery or its affiliates or licensors. You must not use such trademarks without the prior written permission of Bad Dog Pottery. Shopify’s name, logo, product and service names, designs and slogans are trademarks of Shopify. All other names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans on the Services are the trademarks of their respective owners.
  • Errors, Inaccuracies and Omissions:
  • Occasionally there may be information on or in the Services that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).
  • Governing Law
  • These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you with Products or Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the federal and state or territorial courts in the jurisdiction where Bad Dog Pottery is headquartered. You and Bad Dog Pottery consent to venue and personal jurisdiction in such courts.

Shipping and Returns

Shipping

We strive to quickly package and deliver your order to your door as safely and economically as possible. As we have all seen recently the cost of shipping has increased considerably. Pottery and glass can be heavy and fragile. We package your order to avoid breakage, thus shipping can be expensive, however, even though we include bass shipping in the item price, we do everything we to keep the shipping cost as low as we can to keep our prices lower, by using recycled shipping and packing material where possible and safe.

All orders are shipped by UPS or USPS. We ship to the contiguous 48 states, and do not ship to PO boxes, or International. Shipping to Alaska or Hawaii will incur addition shipping cost. We will contact you with the additional shipping cost if your order requires shipping to Alaska or Hawaii.

All Orders are securely packaged to help ensure against breakage. Breakage is rare but should you receive an item that is damaged it is very important that you save the box it came in, as well as all packing materials. You must contact us, via email at info@baddogpottery.com within 24 hour of receipt and send us photos of the damaged item showing the damage, as well as photos of the box and packing materials. When we receive your email the photos and description of the damage we will review. Upon review and acceptance, we will email you with information on the return or replacement. Please allow us 5 to seven business day to complete this.

Returns

All pieces are handmade. And slight imperfections in size, color and finish are to be expected. However, within 14 days of delivery, if you need to exchange a new unused item because it does not match the description you may contact us for a RMA. The customer is responsible for all packing, and shipping costs to send the item back to us, unbroken or damaged and a shop credit or refund to original payment method for the item price only (less original shipping) will be issued within 5 days of receipt. On a refund please allow up to 10 business days for it to show up in your account, this is dependent on your payment provider.
